Sometimes I Wish

Sometimes I wish the world was a kinder place, That the world was a picture perfect place like the media describes it. Crime rates drastically dropping each year till dare not a ration of no murders. Poor and hungry wiped away from the earth. Everyone has a chance to get what they want. (I wish I could go Super Saiyan).Jobs allowing parents to spend time with their kids. People say that the world is a heavenly place but what about the inhabitants. The mean,cruel, and terrible people that live on it. How can the media portray such awful things. It doesn’t show the true horrific and inhumane things happening around the world. Kids in Africa can’t hope to have fame and glory when they are struggleing to find clean water everyday. Sometimes I wish i could hit the lottery and donate the money to a causee in Africa mainly Kenya. Sometimes  I ask myself If I could end it all how would I start?Hmmm.

My Wish For The World

My wish for the the world is to accept all those who walk, crawl, roll, and ride on it.
The world was made for billions not 1.
My wish is for the world is to turn back to once it was.
A peaceful and pleasant place.
Man has destroyed crumbled and ridiculed the land.
Tainted by blood and ashes. Pollution, oil spills in the sea, radiation in the air, what has nature done to deserve this.
Once a beautiful, gorgeous blue lake, now black and polluted from foreign countries wish for land.
Those who are greedy and selfish rise in the economy trying to destroy who is at top.
Gas prices rising , Death toll increasing, and single parents crying.
Kids growing up without both parents.
My wish for the world is to come to a standstill.
Where is peace the only thing standing.
My wish for the world is to care and think of others before themselves.

Trip to chiminey rock

The first time I went to Chimney rock was back in 4th grade. The only trip we took because the other classes were horrible. The trip was amazing though.     Since it was a school trip we had to get up at 5 in the morning so we wouldn’t miss the bus.     The bus ride was maybe 1 - 2 hours long. We were able to watch movies and eat so the kids had a wonderful time. We watched brother bear and home alone 2. When we arrived to the bottom of Chimney rock there was a list of things to do. We had to go up 200 stares, walk through the store, and if time left the boat ride.    We began the long agonizing pain of walking up the 200 stares. On our way to the store i spotted a waterfall so i asked if we could go  look at it. It was amazing. Me being only about 10, thought it was the most amazing thing in the world. The way the colors reflected off the water was magnificent. I took pictures before we left. While leaving the waterfall the store happened to be a few feet away from it.   The store was amazing. It had the best candy in the world in there (Rock Candy). I bought 2 of each one and ate them throughout the day.     The boat ride was next. When we arrived at the lake it was huge. When i got on the boat i thought i was going to fall off. The boat ride was amazing, I saw buildings under water, buildings sinking ,and raced the other team to the end of the lake. We won by a little bit over a foot. After the boat ride was done it was time to go home.     On our way back my mom said we are coming here for a family vacation. I was so happy about that. When we got back to school i ran to the car and went to sleep on the ride home.

ELA Showcase

The blog that best explains my growth and thinker as a reader is  Whoopin. I gave the belt personification as if it where a real human about to hit me. I read someone story about going throgh pain so i decided to write a story about pain being delt to me. I had to foucs on the authors main purpose of writing a story. My top three post were 1 whoopin 2 Hunger Games Project 2 3hunger games project 1. Hunger games project 1 was my best post of creatvity. I took my perseption of the love trianlge between gale, katniss and peeta and my my own explaination.

Whoopin

My dad had ordered a new big screen T.V (65in). Our father decided to throw away the old one because it was a new house so he wanted new stuff to go inside. We had to help him bring it in the living room. After we did that our dad plugged it up and turnt it up as loud as he could.  Ontario and I were in the next room. We took our mattresses and stacked them on top of one another and started to jump.My brother and I were like 9 and 10 (me being the oldest) , so we didn't have much of an imagination of what we could do. Our dad told us to stop but we didn't hear him over the loud T.V. After he finally got tired of it he told our mom to go settle it. He was to tired to get up him self. She tried her best to whoop my brother and I, but we have become so immune it was like a feather going across us. Our dad decided to get a belt. When he walked in I saw a swirling vortex of red around his body. The cold black leather belt looked like it was smiling a grimly smile saying "I'm coming for you". The silk smooth shine told me "this is what happens when you don't obey".  The way the belt went across my backside was horrible. It was like thunder clapping, it was a continues whack after another. When he finally got done my bottom was red. I never knew I could turn red. Let me tell you we never jumped on another bed again.

Hunger Games Project #2

A: Katniss's life is sorta like the people in Greece culture. They have to worship a god or they will be destroyed. Katniss is forced to worship the capital or they will be killed. In Greece they do certain things so their gods don't kill them in saying. But Katniss was able to do things herself to disobey the capital. It showed that she didn't like the way they were treated.

B: Gladiators and tributes are sorta the same thing. Tributes were trained for barbarian combat just like roman gladiators. Gladiators were able to volunteer just like the tributes after the names where called. If they didn't want that person to go fight they could change out just like Katniss did for prim. Gladiators and tributes where like pawns in the game of their leaders. They were forced to fight against animals and other people to just like the gladiators had to.

C: The capital were just like roman leaders, they used gladiators and tributes  for entertainment. The capital thought just like the roman leaders because they picked up and carried away the bodies so the audience doesn't get gorging feeling. The hunger games used a hover craft of some sort to pick up the bodies but Rome had to do it by hand. The capital were the bosses because they had the power to destroy any and everything so people obeyed them, just like what the Greek gods did with th
moment so they did as they were told.

Katniss is torn between the loves of her life but cant seem to choose. If she she choose one over the other she seem  like the bad person. Petta relly likes katniss and wants to be more than friends, but Katniss dosent really feel this way about him till after the games are over with. Gale has been her hunting partner for a very long time now and she claims that she dosnt have feelings for him but she was thinking about him half the time she was with Petta. Wat does that mean??

Chapter 21 was jammed packed with action. As I was saying in my blog earlier Katniss drugged Peeta, making him go to sleep. After that she left racing to the cornucopia.She stopped to hind in a tree to see if someone made it there before her. As she watched the cornucopia fox face zoomed right past Katniss grabbing her bag and running back into the woods. When Katniss saw that she thought it was OK to go after hers. Wen Katnniss got about a yard away from the bag Clove those a knife gashing katniss above the eyebrow. Then she came and tackled Katniss to the ground.After sitting there for awhile Clove spills that she killed Rue. Rue district partner the all mighty Thresh over heard Clove say it and beat her with a rock. It was brutal. Then Thesh let Katniss go for teaming up with Rue. Do you think he would let you go? Would you let that person go even tho you would have to kill them later? I for one would go ahead and kill the person because you are only delaying the enivativlible I mean if you have to kill them anyway why wait the faster you kill everyone the faster you go home. After Thresh let Katniss go he took Cato's bag and ran with it back to his so called territory. This book is gertting real hot. Will katniss be able to kill Thresh for what he did or will Cato kill Thresh for killing his partner. What do you think. Thresh does have the power and skill to win the game, but is he going to be the winner. What do you think? Fox face is still here to. I wonder what the climax will be.This book is getting real good.

Katniss must really love Peeta. She druged him so he could go to sleep so she can go to the cornucopia. There are 4 moving tributes left,Cato,Clover,Tresh and Foxface. The announcer said that wating at the cornucopia will be something you need in a backpack with your distracts number on it. I wonder what all they need. We know that Katniss needs medicine for Peeta's messed up leg. I don't know if she gets medicine will it heal his injury now. Do you think it would? I mean his leg is getting worser and worser because blood posion is starting to set in. I wonder is the other tributes will try and ambush Katniss because she has done all them wroung. Some just want her dead because of the elevon she got. What do you think is going to happen at the cornucpia? I think that all of them are going to arrive at the same time except for peeta and will fight each other till one stands or they will make a break for their district bag and head out. Can't wait to jump into chapter 21. With all this going on what will the end be.

Hunger Games Reaspons

The book is getting really interesting now. The gamemakers have decied to change the rules to where if your from the same district you both will win. I dont think that is fair to the people that have lost their commrads already. If they were going to put in a new rule why not sooner. Do you think is fair? I mean now is down to six poeple and like three are by themselves. Katniss has to find Peeta before Thresh or another tribute gets him. Peeta is badly wounded and is vulnerable. Rue has been killed witch means if Katniss cant find Peeta in time her alliance is over and she will be by herself with four other tributes. Do you think Katniss will find Peeta? I tihnk kattniss will look for Peeta non stop until she finds him. Now that she has her bow and arrows, with the help from Peeta if she finds him,I belive that they will be an unstoppable team.  The star crossed lovers, hopefully they will get to come back together. Do you think they will?

I was completly shocked by the way Peeta acted. He tells katniss not to go for the bow, but he ends up with the carrers. Then after all the jackers have gone he is the first to return and tells Katniss to run. I gusess he really does love her. He acts like he is a stone cold killer when really he has a soft sided for Kattniss. That's mabey why he hasn't told them anything about her. Rue was suprising to. No one has seen her since the games started and here she is staring at Kattniss. I belive she has been trailing Kattniss  without her knowing. The question is was Rue with Kattniss when the forest caught on fire? If so why didn't she help Kattniss then,why wait to start revieling herself now. Rue is a small little girl so she could have been in the trees watching Kattniss, if so why didn't she tell Kattniss about the carres eariler. After those 3 stingers from the tracker jackers I hope Kattniss is ok. The venom is starting to take affect. Making her hallucinate and her woozy.  Having to aboandon her marsh, Her only water source for miles will she find more water running. Will she survive under these harsh conditions?

To change or not to change

You shouldn't change because someone wants you to. Beauty that stays is on the inside. All that make up, *swag*, surgery and bling will all fade some day. Looks can be deceiving. They may look like an angel but  be a devil. You shouldn't care what others think. You probably wouldn't see that person again in your life. Consider this, if you do change and that person leaves you. You did all that work and things to change yourself just for that person to leave you. How would you feel? Inner beauty will never leave as long as you stay the same way you always been.

Sole Provider

A sole provider is someone who takes of others before themselves.They make sure that what needs to be done gets done. They make sure if someone needs to go to school they are on time. A sole provider is someone who knows to get food for another not worried if they are going eat. Making sure that if shopping needs to be done they go out as soon as they are notifed. If cleaning is needing to be done they are the first with a broom and mop.

My Perfect World

Where everyone listens to me. What I say is golden. Evereyone is peacful until someone starts something. Everyone at least reads a page a day from the bible. Everyone is allwoed to celebrate their own religion as long as it does not valgerly offends another. No uniforms at school. Everyone belives in that chicken wings are the best.
